The mountains, too, range
from the rocky and arid to lush and green with sweeping vistas and
snow-capped peaks. In the Northern Cape you can shoot desert dunes
that stretch from horizon to horizon with not a plant in sight. In
the Drakensberg, 3000m above sea level on a mountain peak, you can
capture an amphitheatre of rolling hills and jagged peaks as far as
the eye can see.
