Given South Africa’s diversity of flora and fauna it is hardly surprising that the country's wildlife and game is equally diverse. For big game viewing SA is second to none with healthy populations of big game pocketed through out the country.
Where once the many of the Big Five species were threatened by extinction through poaching and lack of environmental controls, South Africa is now one of the leaders in rehabilitation of many once endangered species.
