Always bringing life to the screen, you may have your own personal favorite, but the top 5 action movies starring Bruce Willis are undebatably listed as follows:

5- The Sixth Sense
4- Pulp Fiction
3- Perfect Stranger
2- Die Hard
1- The Fifth Element

Although The Sixth sense can be thrown into the horror genre, it is the creeping action, and unforgettable twist that led it to be number 5 on this list. Leaving you on the edge of your seat is a tale of redemption that can not be made possible without the total action that is Pulp Fiction, number 4 on this list. A film that led us to see Bruce Willis in a completely different light yet still encapsulating us in the glory of its intrigue and action was 2007 film, Perfect Stranger, at number 3 on our list. Possibly his best known films are those of the Die Hard realm, and while completely enveloped in action and adventure, at number 2 on this list, Die Hard did not make it to number one. At last, the number one Bruce Willis action movie would hands down have to be The Fifth Element. Breaking new rules in filmmaking, this action packed sci-fi crossover film is now seen as many as a cult classic that leaves you on the edge of your seat and wanting more as you get so caught up in its intoxicating story!

Indiana Jones

Of course, the list starts with a well-loved favorite. With installments in 1981, 1984, 1989 and most recently in 2008, everyone loves watching whip-cracking Indy fight his way through ancient ruins in search of ancient artifacts.

Blade Runner

Sci-fi lovers have probably seen Blade Runner. This renowned film came out in 1982, and stars Ford who must track down and do away with space craft hijackers.

The Fugitive

In this intense movie, Ford fights against time and even the officials to clear his name as his wife’s killer. The Fugitive came out in 1993, and hasn’t lost its thrill since then.

Star Wars

There are dozens of great sci-fi flicks on your Cannon Satellite channels at any given time but when’s the last time you rushed out to a theater to see a new release? Sure it’s pricey but it’s hard to beat the rush of a theater film and here are three of the upcoming films we’re most excited to see:
Clash of the Titans II: If you didn’t love the original then you sure won’t love this one but really, what’s better than a mythical creature film on a 30 foot screen? This one’s set for 2012 so look for it.
The Dark Tower: This Steven King classic is set to come out next winter and it’s bound to be a scary one. If you haven’t read the book yet you should do so before you see the movie.
The Martian Chronicles: Ray Bradbury’s famous stories have been sold and that means great news for sci-fi lovers. The films won’t start until 2013 so you’ve got a while to wait but boy, we’re on the edge of our seats just for the first PREVIEW!

Zombie movies have always been popular, but just because a director throws a bunch of gory makeup on some extras and tell them to walk around with limps moaning, that doesn’t mean his movie is any good. Here is a list of ten movies that brought something else to the table, in terms of either biting social commentary or a clever, fresh take on an idea that has been resurrected again and again on the silver screen.

Night of the Living Dead: George Romero’s original masterpiece still stands out among the crowd for its insightful take on the Civil Rights Movement.

Dawn of the Dead (2004): Few zombie films capture the absolute hopelessness of the situation as does this remake. In the end, there is no escape.

Shaun of the Dead: It’s a love story disguised as a zombie film and brilliantly pulled off by Simon Pegg who manages to find the humor in zombies without losing their terror.

28 Days Later: The opening sequence of this movie plays out in near silence, making for one of the scariest car alarms in the history of cinema.

Evil Dead 2: Sam Raimi’s masterpiece uses manic tracking shots to disorient the audience and make them forget the lack of big-budget effects.

Night of the Comet: Gag me with a spoon. This film from the 80′s has aged well, even if the mall zombies we encounter have certainly not.

Zombieland: With one of the best cameos in the history of film, this tongue-in-cheek look at survival after a zombie apocalypse pokes fun at the genre while losing little of its horror.

Rec: The Spanish film that was remade into Quarantine in the United States features equal parts gore and artistry, and you’ll never look a spiral staircase in exactly the same way.

Weekend at Bernie’s 2: Sure, the original was the better movie, but this is the one that fits the category, as voodoo is used to reanimate Bernie’s corpse instead of Jonathan Silverman.

Dead Snow: Not only do you get zombies, but in this film from Norway, the zombies are also Nazis. This is one ski vacation that went horribly, horribly wrong.

Who does not love a great plague movie? Whether you are being overrun by zombies, frogs or some new government manufactured contagion, these movies thrill the sci-fi community. Here are the top ten plague movies that everyone must see.
10. Frogs from 1972, starring Sam Elliot showcases some great tragic deaths at the hands of amphibians.
9. The Plague is kids waking up after years and years and years of being comatose. Instead of going back to Tom and Jerry cartoons, they go out and kill all the grown ups!
8. The Happening gives us the M. Night Shyamalan take on a plague. People start doing crazy, unexplainable things and no one can answer why.
7. Rabid kicks off the Zombie epidemics all the way back in 1977.
6. Quarantine (and Quarantine 2) explore what would happen if a mutant form of rabies managed to get out of control in an apartment complex or on an airplane.
5. Outbreak is a very serious drama about government conspiracy in the creation and alleged containment of viruses.
4. Doomsday is a bit odd, but showcases just what lengths people will go to when terrified.
3. Black Death adds a supernatural element to the tale of the real plague responsible for wiping out millions of people back in the day.
2. I Am Legend shows us one mans seemingly hopeless efforts to fight a plague.
1. Zombieland is the most awesome zombie movie ever, and it happens to be about a plague started by bad burgers at a “Gas ‘n Gulp.”

Below, I have made a list of the best and top supporting actors in action films. It was a tough choice because both of them proved that they are worthy to be in this list.

1. Health Ledger in The Dark Knight – Ledger had always been known as a good actor in his role in various movies, which include “Brokeback Mountain and Ten Things I Hate About You However, the deceased actor proved that he is worthy to be given an award in his exceptional role as the Joker in the movie The Dark Knight. Ledger did a great job in bringing the character to life, and it is certain that his role as the Joker will be remembered forever.

2. Robert Downey Jr in Tropic Thunder – In spite of the fact that the actor is known for his role as the Iron Man, he also did a great job when he played the role of an actor disguised as another person. He is sure to make you laugh the entire time that you are watching the movie because he did an exceptional job. He proved in this action/comedy movie that he is a versatile actor who can play both serious and funny roles.

One of the best series of sci-fi films is Friday the 13. The 80s style comes out in the manner of killings and then modernizes to adapt to the 21st century. Kane Hodder is one of the better known actors who played Jason Voorhees in the series. He played in at least three of the movies and was one of the more menacing actors who played Jason. His stocky build and slow gait made us all think twice about going outside at night.
Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs gave the performance of the decade playing alongside Jodie Foster. The detail of the movie, as well as Hopkins’ mannerisms and way of speaking made the movie creepier than it was meant to be. The tongue scenes that Hopkins’ elaborated in make dinner time something that will never be the same.
Aliens don’t stand a chance with Sigourney Weaver. She is the kick-butt female of the 80s movie Alien, as well as the movies that followed. She joined the flight into space and met some evil aliens who wanted to devour her, but holding her own, Weaver showed everyone that women can be just as tough as men in films.
